Despite the true smorgasbord of covers celebrating THE AMAZING MARY JANE #1, issue two comes with only two covers (that I know of), and of those only the variant cover by Terry Dodson makes the grade. As for DC, the only novelty comes from a variant cover by Derrick Chew for SUPERGIRL #36, and what a gorgeous cover.
The true bulk of this addenda, however, comes from the independent companies, and first and foremost with a wonderfully luminous cover by Miguel Mercado for ARCHIE AND FRIENDS: TRAVEL #1 that really brings Betty & Veronica to life. Red 5 Comics' MACHINE GIRL #1 brings us some more tentacles and a busty oriental beauty in a very menacing scenario. Rebekah Isaacs's cover for MONEY SHOT #2 must surely rank as one of the sexiest covers from 2019 in its simple conflagration of eroticism and background danger. Antartic Press' cover for DOG EATERS #2 makes the list for its nipple audacity, a rare commodity among mainstream comic books. The remaining three covers are normal action pin-up covers featuring lovely ladies in sexy poses. And welcome they are.
Covers for: Mary Jane by Terry Dodson; Supergirl by Derrick Chew; Archie by Miguel Mercado; Machine Girl by Matt Busch; Money Shot by Rebekah Isaacs; Dog Eaters by Guillermo A. Angel; Chastity by Catherine Nodet; Grim Fairy Tales by Alfredo Reyes; and Roku by Jeff Dekal
